Marin Community Foundation’s $2 Million Grant Links Schools, Preschools

Hoping to forge a connection between the county’s public schools and its preschools, the Marin Community Foundation announced $2 million in early education grants Monday. The grants, part of a five-year, $35 million program by the foundation to improve opportunities for underprivileged students, will support projects at nine elementary schools in four Marin districts: Novato, San Rafael, Sausalito Marin City and Shoreline.
