Broadband connectivity should be viewed not as a mere commodity but as a community resource as vital as water.

Whenever I attend an interesting conference, the hardest decision I face is which concurrent session to attend. Therefore, I think the session presenters I choose owe it to me to be outstanding. I measure the success of a session by the following:

A-ha or eureka-type moments
Wishing sincerely that the session would continue for at least one [...]

These days you can’t avoid hearing about new opportunities for public-philanthropic partnerships. It reminds me of novelist John Steinbeck’s comment, “Ideas are like rabbits—you get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen.”
