Rusty Stahl
is a senior consultant at TCC Group, a strategic consulting firm that works with foundations, nonprofits and corporate giving programs to help them increase their social impact. At TCC she primarily works with foundations on strategic planning engagements. Her clients have included large national foundations, community foundations and numerous family foundations. She is President of the board of the Hill-Snowdon Foundation, which supports social justice efforts throughout the U.S. She also serves on the board of the Ms. Foundation for Women and co-chairs the Council on Foundations’ Next Generation Advisory Task Force. Blanchard is a graduate of Stanford University and received her Masters in Public Policy from U.C. Berkeley.

Rusty Stahl is a leading voice on generational change and leadership development in philanthropy and the social sector. He is Executive Director and co-founder of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EPIP), the national association that strengthens the next generation of grantmakers in order to advance social justice philanthropy. EPIP, a recognized affinity group of the Council on Foundations, was launched in 2002 and has provided education, training, networking and scholarships to more than 2,000 young and new grantmakers. Today the organization has over 300 individual and institutional members, and chapters in 11 cities and states. Stahl serves on the Idealist.org Board, and represents EPIP on the Council’s Next Generation Taskforce, Independent Sector’s NGen Advisory Committee, and steering committees for the Nonprofit Workforce Coalition, and Social Justice Philanthropy Collaborative. Previously, Stahl worked as a Program Associate at the Ford Foundation. He holds an MA in Philanthropic Studies from the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy, where he received the prestigious Chancellor’s Award.
